The Jenks Center, a Winchester institution for 30 years, provides 100 programs a week to 1,000 people – socialization, exercise, health, travel, information, entertainment, education, nutrition, and transportation. The Center is privately owned by theWinchester Seniors Association (WSA) and houses both the WSA and the Council on Aging (COA). Each organization provides unique services to the general public.

The WSA, a (501-C-3) non-profit organization, focuses its efforts on providing activities, events, education, travel, entertainment, exercise programs, and special functions, often in partnership with other organizations in the town. The COA, a town-

supported organization, has offices in the Center and provides services, such as health and social services, transportation, housing counseling, legal and financial counseling, handyman services, information and referrals, meals, and wellness programs. Each of these two organizations is served by a small staff and numerous volunteers, all working together to enrich the lives of Winchester's residents. The Jenks Center is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and all adults are welcome to come in and enjoy this beautiful community resource!
